Community based voucher sharing sites work on the premise that members of the community share vouchers and coupons they have been found by posting them up on the site. Pros – there is a whole army of people hunting for different deals and posting them up. Cons – quite a high percentage of the codes don’t work.

Offline and small business coupon sites, generally work like the classified ads in a newspaper. They charge retailers to post vouchers up on their site, which typically you can then print, and take into the store for a discount.
